Who We Are |
We are dedicated to uncovering the genius in Africa. In giving people the capacity to know their ability and work together to build commercial farms and share in the growth of the agri-business sector. We bring knowledge of modern farming, management and organization, the knowledge that farmers need to own and operate sustainable businesses in agriculture.

Our History |
RMI Swaziland has its roots in RMI Services and in the Komati Downstream Development Project, as its Directors were involved in the development and implementation of this successful community outgrower development project. This project offers important lessons of how ordinary folks can successfully making the transition for subsistence farming to large scale commercial farming. This project and subsequent experiences in other commercialisation project have highlighted the important and distinct role of Community Owned Enterprises (COE) as vehicles for rural development. COE are distinct from ordinary company structures in that they recognise and accommodated the close relationship that exists between business, communities and land ownership in rural Africa. RMI offers expertise in this regard.

Our core lies in being the champion of Values and strategy, we are working on the continuous development of new ideas gathering, storing and distributing knowledge. We grow our staff through building and maintaining relationships with farmers, governments, industries and universities. We host a Centre of Excellence for organisational and business development in rural areas.
At RMI we make it a priority to engage the youth in all the projects we undertake. The youth are bright and full of energy and are very keen to do and learn new things. They learn fast and are able to assimilate ideas relating to modern agribusiness planning very quickly. We see the youth as a connect between modern farming and their elders, who are the asset owners, they are better placed to learn the new ways of farming and at the end of the day we empower both the young and old.
